Mother Nature came through big time, as the weather was perfect for this year’s American Heart Association’s Heart Walk on May 13.

The walk, held at Miller’s Landing, drew thousands of walkers taking part to fight heart disease and stroke. Thanks to everyone with team Nebraska Medicine/UNMC who participated or donated money for this year’s event.

Together, our team raised more than $24,000 from 246 generous donors! There were 572 colleagues and their friends and families that registered.
