UNO adviser on campus this week

For the UNMC employees who want to earn bachelor’s degrees, now may be the time take advantage of the University of Nebraska scholarship program.

An adviser from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) will be available at UNMC to meet with anyone who is interested in starting or finishing their degree. The advisor can help employees pursue the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies (formerly Bachelor of General Studies) degree.

The Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies (BMS) degree is a flexible, individualized degree program designed especially for adult, military and transfer students. The multidisciplinary nature of the program provides opportunities to customize the degree to support career goals, satisfy personal aspirations or prepare for graduate study. Students can take classes online, on-campus or at off-campus locations, including UNMC. Most transfer credits from accredited colleges and universities are accepted, along with military credit. Visit the website to find out more information.

A UNO adviser will be available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, in Room 2032 of the Administration Center.

Please contact Nicole Gamerl to set up an advising appointment today. Appointments will last 45 minutes.
