UNO adviser will return to UNMC in July

For UNMC employees who wish to get their bachelor’s degrees, now may be the time to take advantage of the University of Nebraska scholarship program.

An adviser from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) will be available at UNMC to meet with anyone who is interested in starting or finishing their degree. The adviser can help employees pursue a bachelor’s of multidisciplinary studies (formerly bachelor of general studies) degree.

The bachelor of multidisciplinary studies (BMS) degree is a flexible, individualized degree program designed especially for adult, military and transfer students. The multidisciplinary nature of the program provides opportunities to customize the degree to support your career goals, satisfy personal aspirations, or prepare for graduate study. Take classes online, on-campus or at off-campus locations, including UNMC. Most transfer credits from accredited colleges and universities are accepted, along with military credit. Find out more.

The adviser will be available on the following dates and times:

  • July 19, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Room 2032 of the Administration Center
  • July 27, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Room 2032 of the Administration Center

Please contact Katie Sup Rezac to set up your advising appointment. Appointments will last 45 minutes. If you have previously earned college credits, please send a copy of your transcripts before the appointment so they can be evaluated for transfer ahead of time. For this purpose, transcripts can be unofficial copies.
