Come support the Nebraska Science Festival (NE SciFest) while dining on meatballs.
Eat at The Blackstone Meatball on Aug. 29 and 10 percent of that days total sales will go toward supporting the festival, now in its sixth year. UNMC employees, faculty and students also get 20 percent off lunch by showing UNMC ID (in-house only, not good for take-out).
NE SciFest started in 2013 as an initiative of UNMC, which continues to administer the festival with the assistance of a number of organizations and individuals interested in the advancement of science literacy. The festival aims to stimulate curiosity and excite the minds of children and adults by engaging them in the amazing world of science.
Planning already is underway for the 2018 Festival, which will run April 19-28.
Until then, the best way to show support is to Snack for SciFest at The Blackstone Meatball.
