Espionage author to speak on campus

In conjunction with the exhibition, “Top Secret! License to Spy,” The Durham Museum will host award-winning writer and New York Times best-selling author Gayle Lynds at noon today in the Sorrell Center, Room 2010.

Lynds has published 10 international political novels. She will share some of her own writing secrets with UNMC employees and students. From her childhood in Omaha/Council Bluffs to her experiences as an editor with rare top secret security clearance at a California think tank to publishing her most recent novel, “The Assassins,” Lynds will explore espionage fiction.

The presentation is offered through the Time Travelers partnership, which provides free museum admission for UNMC employees, students and their immediate families with valid identification. The partnership also offers lectures, workshops and other events on campus.
