Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC:

My role at UNMC is the director of DevOps. I have a broad IT management background ranging from sales operations, project management operations, human resource management, budget management, strategic planning, governance and change management. In my position, I am responsible for providing secure, reliable and integrated application technology solutions in alignment with academic, research and patient care goals, while delivering excellence in customer service. The applications my team supports include: ADIS, BRAIN, CARE, Directory, eServ, Identity Management, Management Resources, PeopleSoft, Research Support Systems, SAP, Seguidor and UNePlan.

Accountability is one of UNMC’s ITEACH values. Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group at UNMC exhibit this value.
During my time with UNMC, I have seen countless examples of accountability — whether it has been project team members collaborating on project plans to ensure all tasks are accounted for, team members working nights and weekends to ensure new systems are implemented correctly, or management entrusting new responsibilities to team members. I have enjoyed watching the collaboration amongst everyone.

What is your favorite fall activity?

I like to watch Nebraska football games.
