Clinical Trial Management System begins rollout

Beginning today, the new Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) will implement Phase 1 of the planned roll-out. This includes clinical trials occurring at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.

“The CTMS is a critically important resource which will span the development, conduct and oversight of clinical research at UNMC/Nebraska Medicine,” said Chris Kratochvil, M.D., associate vice chancellor for clinical research at UNMC and vice president for research at Nebraska Medicine.

Phase II will be enterprise-wide and is scheduled for June 2018. The CTMS will be used across Nebraska Medicine and UNMC to achieve excellence in clinical research including more opportunities for patients to enroll in clinical trials available at Nebraska Medicine.

The Clinical Research Operations team has been working extensively for the past six months with ITS and other departments to bring this project to realization.

During this implementation, support staff will be on-site and available remotely as well, to address any issues. For more information, please contact Courtney Kennedy, manager clinical trials applications, at 402-552-2983.
