As seen in UNMC Today last month, Nebraska Medicine and UNMC are excited to host the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) state competition and leadership conference March 19 and 20.

As part of the event, students will participate in nearly 50 competitive events, including math, forensic science, nursing assisting and public speaking. The event still is in need of 40 judges. Most of these events require no specific background knowledge or training.
