Spring is the reward for making it through a long winter. However, the change in weather also can bring on symptoms of a runny nose and allergies. What causes these symptoms? What can one do to get relief?

Join us at the Olson Center brown bag on April 17 when Christie Barnes, M.D., assistant professor in the UNMC Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, will discuss the first line of treatment for a runny nose and, in more severe cases, when a specialist should be seen.

The brown bag presentation will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.

Seating is limited; pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345. Bring lunch and refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free. However, the cost is $10 to obtain nursing credit. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register.

Note: The UNMC College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This activity is provided for 1.0 contact hour under ANCC criteria.
