April 25 is Administrative Professionals Day.
To mark the day, the UNMC Department of Human Resources will offer administrative professionals the opportunity to attend a celebration event at the Truhlsen Events Center in the Sorrell Center. The event will consist of a morning session and an afternoon session. Participants are invited to attend ONE of the sessions.
Both sessions will feature a keynote address by Christy Currie titled “Agiliency (Agility and Resiliency)”. Currie, a local and national speaker, will address how both agility and resiliency influenced her ability to conquer life’s many challenges including stage 3 breast cancer. In addition, both sessions will include icebreakers and other fun activities presented by comedians Jarrell Roach and Malcolm Tiller.
There will be two sessions. Administrative professionals are asked to RSVP by Friday, April 20 through E-Serv to either the morning session from 9-11:30 a.m. or the afternoon session from noon-2:30 p.m.
