Next Wednesday is Administrative Professionals Day.
UNMC recognizes the hard work and dedication of administrative professionals campus-wide with an annual event that features breakfast or lunch, a guest speaker, and entertainment activities.
It is not too late to register to attend this year’s event on Wednesday, April 25, in the Truhlsen Campus Events Center in the Sorrell Center.
Registration will remain open until Monday, April 23.
The event will include two sessions — morning and afternoon — to accommodate work schedules. All administrative professionals are invited to attend one of the sessions.
Both sessions will feature guest speaker Christy Currie. Her presentation, “Agiliency,” will explore how both agility and resiliency played a part in her fight against stage-3 cancer. Fun activities and either breakfast or lunch also are planned for the day.
RSVP by Monday, April 23 through E-Serv to attend either the morning session from 9-11:30 a.m. or the afternoon session from noon-2:30 p.m.
