Service Awards Dinner honors UNMC employees

Eleven 40-year employees were among the people recognized at this year’s Service Awards Dinner, held earlier in June.

The 40-year employees were Diane Acquazzino, clinical studies coordinator, pediatric pulmonology; Mark Conlin, accountant, Munroe-Meyer Institute; Barbara Berg Glover, administrative associate, MMI; Judith Houfek, administrative coordinator, College of Medicine; John Ingraham, campus security; Vicki Morrison, administrative associate, MMI; Elizabeth Revers, husbandry technician, comparative medicine; Robert Staroska, electrician; Diane Strnad, accountant; College of Medicine; Laurie Wieting, assistant manager, Nebraska Public Health Environmental Laboratory, pathology/microbiology; and Matthew Zielinski, utility operator, facilities management and planning.

UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., spoke to the honorees, congratulating them on their service anniversaries and thanking them for their efforts to advance UNMC’s mission.
