Great Plains IDeA-CTR taking grant applications

The Great Plains IDeA-CTR Network is announcing an opportunity for pilot grant funding through the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of General Medical Sciences.

Proposed projects must be clinical and/or translational research. Letters of intent are due Sept. 7.

The goal of the program is to provide support to the most promising and new clinical and translational research projects, and help investigators obtain preliminary data necessary for successful investigator-initiated extramural grants. Successful applicants will receive up to $50,000 in direct costs for a one-year project, as well as access to resources to support their research efforts.

The Great Plains IDeA-CTR is a collaboration of eight eligible institutions, which includes: UNMC, Boys Town National Research Hospital, North Dakota State University, University of Nebraska at Kearney, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska at Omaha, University of North Dakota and University of South Dakota.
