How I fell in love with family medicine:

I went into medicine because I enjoy caring for patients across multiple settings and throughout their lives. Family medicine gives me the opportunity to care for patients both in the clinic and when admitted to the hospital. I have the privilege to be the primary care physician for both children and adults, caring for medical conditions across all systems and coordinating specialist care when necessary. As a family medicine physician, I am able to build relationships with patients, allowing for patient education and preventive care. I especially enjoy working with Spanish-speaking patients and underserved populations.
