Colleagues encouraged to wear purple Thursday

To celebrate National Wear Purple Day on Thursday in support of pancreatic cancer awareness, all UNMC/Nebraska Medicine employees are invited to come to the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium at 10:30 a.m. for a group photo.

All colleagues are encouraged to wear anything purple — shirts, socks, accessories. Please note, clinical staff still must follow the dress code policy guidelines.

Colleagues also are invited to join in the PurpleLight Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Conference Room 0.12.101 at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m.. The ceremony begins at 6 p.m.
