United Way campaign ends Friday with prize drawing

Friday is the final day of the 2018 UNMC United Way campaign. Let’s make it count.

When you give to United Way, you’re making a difference in the lives of thousands of people in our very own neighborhoods. More than 12 percent of people in Omaha-Council Bluffs live in poverty.

If you need more of an incentive, at 4 p.m. Friday, the UNMC United Way Committee will draw prize winners for the final week of the campaign. Prizes this week include:

  • Two $50 Amazon gift cards
  • A $25 Starbucks gift card
  • A $25 Lowes gift card
  • A $25 Target gift card

Employees of UNMC who pledge a minimum of $20 (only $1.67 per month) to the United Way campaign will be eligible for the prizes listed above. You can log into eServ and make a pledge by 4 p.m. today to be included in the drawing.

Here’s how the participation levels stack up by college or unit:

  • College of Allied Health Professions: 75 percent
  • Chancellor’s Unit: 69 percent

United Way Contribbution. I work from the Norfolk UNMC College of Nursing and can not find United Way on my eServ page. Who do I contact to have an automatic withdrawal for a United Way contribution?
