Today is the final day of the 2018 UNMC United Way campaign. Let’s make it count.
When you give to United Way, you’re making a difference in the lives of thousands of people in our very own neighborhoods. More than 12 percent of people in Omaha-Council Bluffs live in poverty.
If you need more of an incentive, at 4 p.m. today, the UNMC United Way Committee will draw prize winners for the final week of the campaign. Prizes this week include:
- Two $50 Amazon gift cards
- A $25 Starbucks gift card
- A $25 Lowes gift card
- A $25 Target gift card
Employees of UNMC who pledge a minimum of $20 (only $1.67 per month) to the United Way campaign will be eligible for the prizes listed above. You can log into eServ and make a pledge by 4 p.m. today to be included in the drawing.
The running total
As of 3 p.m. Thursday, UNMC achieved:
- Donations of $121,354 toward a goal of $160,000
- Employee participation of 34 percent. Remember, using the UNMC eServ website to choose not to donate counts as participation.
