Nominations are being accepted for the Office of Community Engagement Awards, which will honor student organizations who have provided quality health care service and/or programming to the community.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit nominations via the award announcement post within the UNMC | SYNC Office of Community Engagement portal. Nominations are due by Dec. 30. Eligible submissions will be reviewed by selected peers and faculty external to the Office of Community Engagement.

Semester awards
- Office of Community Engagement Community Impact Award: This award recognizes student organizations that extend UNMC core values through creation of health care initiatives that are impactful and sustainable in the community. Click to access nomination form via UNMC | SYNC.
- Office of Community Engagement Community Health Education Award: This award recognizes student organizations that extend UNMC core values through demonstration of exemplary contribution to the development of educational health care services or programming to community agencies, schools or organizations.

Winners will receive an award certificate and a voucher for either a card swipe device for their organization to use in tracking event participation or an organization publicity package.
