Children’s Dental Day serves 132 kids

By the end of Children’s Dental Day 132 children left the UNMC College of Dentistry on Feb. 1 with healthy smiles.

Those healthy smiles translated into 1,052 dental procedures, ranging from pulpectomies to extractions to cleanings and fillings at a value of $100,650.

Since 2001, the College of Dentistry has treated more than 6,000 children and provided services valued at more than $3 million to low income and underserved children in the state.
