Cyclists get ready to head out on the 2018 Owl Ride.

Registration is now open for the July 13 Owl Ride, Omaha’s nighttime urban cycling adventure. The unique recreational bike ride is the largest annual night bicycle ride between Chicago and Denver.

The Owl Ride raises funds for the non-profit Meyer Foundation for Disabilities (MFD), which are used to improve the lives of adults with developmental disabilities in our community through programming at UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute.

The Owl Ride gives riders the choice of a 7.5-mile short course and a 17-mile extended route. With its non-competitive format and choice of courses, both casual and serious riders, along with families, can enjoy the unique experience of cruising Omaha’s streets at night.

Register online by clicking here. The cost is $45 for individuals and $25 for riders 18 and under when accompanied by an adult.
