UNMC employees and students are invited to register for free drawing classes to be held on campus this summer in the Leslie’s Healing Garden space. Classes are offered as part of UNMC’s campus partnership with the Joslyn Art Museum.

The Pastels en Plein Air Drawing Class will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays from June 4 to 25.

In the spirit of plein air painters, students will experience pastel drawing outdoors. Students will learn to draw from observation, layering and combining colors as they use pastels to capture the beautiful environment of Leslie’s Healing Garden at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. All materials are provided.

Those who register are asked to make the four-week commitment and attend all classes. Space is limited. Reserve your spot by emailing the UNMC events coordinator.
