Nebraska Student Information System and PeopleSoft will be down today, Saturday
From 8 p.m. CST tonight until approximately 2 p.m. CST on Saturday, the Nebraska Student Information System (NeSIS) and PeopleSoft will be unavailable due to a PeopleTools 8.56 upgrade. During this time, users will not be able to access any of the campus dashboards (MyBlue, MyRed, My NCTA, mavlink or MyRecords) or any of the NU Campus Solutions fluid sites. Dr. ElRayes achieves Fellow status in FACHE
Wael ElRayes, M.B.B.C.H., Ph.D., instructor, health services research and administration, College of Public Health, has achieved the Fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), the nation’s leading professional society for health care leaders.

Dr. ElRayes, who also is the project manager for the Training, Simulation & Quarantine Center initiative, received the honor at the annual Convocation Ceremony in Chicago in March. Only 9,100 health care executives hold this distinction, which represents an achievement of the highest standard of professional development.

To obtain Fellow status, candidates must fulfill multiple requirements, including passing a comprehensive examination, meeting academic and experiential criteria, earning continuing education credits and demonstrating professional/community involvement. Fellows also are committed to ongoing professional development and undergo recertification every three years.

UNL College of Engineering summer shuttle schedule announced

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering will be offering a limited summer NE-Ride schedule. One 11-passenger van will travel between UNL’s Othmer Hall and UNO’s Peter Kiewit Institute (PKI), with no additional stops. The shuttle will begin May 20.

The van will leave Lincoln at 7:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and from PKI at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Engineering students and employees have first priority and all rides are first come, first serve. The shuttles will return to their original schedules beginning Aug. 26.
