Dates remain available to rent the Truhlsen Campus Events Center in 2019, and 2020 dates are available for reservation, as well. The space, located on the first floor of the Sorrell Center at 42nd and Emile streets on the UNMC campus, is the perfect fit for an upcoming wedding or special event.
There are options for events big or small, outdoor and indoor, ceremonies and receptions.
Employees, students and alumni of UNMC and Nebraska Medicine receive a 20% discount on the facility rental rate for their personal events.
Highlights of what’s included with the rental:
- Tables and chairs;
- Flexible set-up/tear down schedule;
- On-site coordinator;
- Open catering policy; and
- Modern architecture with neutral colors throughout.
What about parking?
Free parking is available on campus for guests on evenings and weekends. There also is the option to hire valet and shuttle service for guests, with different pricing options available.
