October’s Olson Center Brown Bag Luncheon will feature dietitians Meghan McLarney, Samantha Nessetti and Karen Overman discussing “Breast Cancer Nutrition A to Z: Prevention to Survivorship.”

The event, to be held from noon-1 p.m. on Oct. 15 at the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater, will explore the possibility of nutrition being a tool in breast cancer prevention. Attendees will learn how to incorporate nutrition and lifestyle guidelines for breast cancer prevention into everyday eating. Attendees also will learn the nutritional needs of patients receiving breast cancer treatment and hear examples of lifestyle interventions (such as how to shop and meal plan) for not only breast cancer prevention and treatment, but also survivorship.

Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345.

Bring your lunch, and simple refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free, but the cost is $10 to obtain nursing credit. Payment instructions will be given at pre-registration.
