Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.

I have been at the UNMC College of Public Health for three years in the department of health promotion as an office associate. I work with faculty, staff and students.

Healing is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a way you’ve seen healing at UNMC.

Working with faculty, staff and students, I have seen their commitment to make our world a healthier place. Truly amazing people to work with every day.

What is your favorite fall activity?

Football — college team, Nebraska Cornhuskers, NFL team, Oakland Raiders. We recently traveled to Colorado for the Nebraska game with the “Children of the Corn.” There were 280 of us, not to mention family and friends from Colorado that joined us. We also have traveled to Jerry’s World, aka AT&T Stadium, for a NFL game. My husband and son are the Cowboy fans.

List three things people may not know about you.

  • I turned 50 this year and have been married for 28 years.
  • We have a 9-month-old granddaughter, Isabel.
  • I am a boxing fan. We have traveled to Las Vegas for a major boxing event. Favorite boxers are Canelo Saul Alvarez and hometown boxer Terence “Bud” Crawford.
