Spotlight on new faculty – meet Jennifer Audi, M.D.

Jennifer Audi, M.D., is among the many new faculty members on the UNMC campus. Dr. Audi is an assistant professor with the section of emergency medicine in the department of surgery. She also is assistant medical director for The Nebraska Regional Poison Center.

Specialty: Emergency medicine & toxicology

Medical degree: State University of New York Upstate Medical University (Health Science Center), 2000

Residency: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard-affiliated emergency medicine residency.

Fellowship: Fellow in Medical Toxicology – Emory University/CDC-ATSDR/Georgia Poison Center – Joint fellowship in medical toxicology

Memberships: American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Medical Toxicology, American Academy of Clinical Toxicology and Toxicology Historical Society.

Toxicology clinic hours: Friday afternoons (12:30 to 5:30 p.m.)

Appointments: Durham Outpatient Center, Level 5. Patients need to have a referral. Physicians should contact Dr. Audi by e-mail jaudi@unmc.edu or phone the Poison Center (402-384-4044) to discuss their patient.
