Jan. 14 – 2020 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs are released
Jan. 20 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Dell Gines, senior community development advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will be the speaker, noon, Lower Storz Pavilion
Jan. 24-25 – UNMC Skate-a-thon for Parkinson’s, UNMC Ice Rink, begins at 2 p.m. on Jan. 24 and runs until 2 p.m. on Jan. 25
Feb. 2 – UNMC Ice Rink closes after this day
Feb. 5 – UNMC to host opioid news conference at 1 p.m.
Feb. 7 – Board of Regents meeting
Feb. 19 – Surgical skills simulation showcase, 7-9 a.m. and 3-5 p.m., Sorrell Simulation Lab
Feb. 20 – Impact in Education Awards ceremony, 3 p.m., Durham Research Center Auditorium

March 19 – UNO and UNMC campus visits for the University of Nebraska Board of Regents

April 3-26 – Nebraska Science Festival: April 3 – Keynote speaker; April 16 – Expo at SAC Museum; April 24 – Expo at The Durham Museum; April 25 – Public Expo at The Durham Museum
April 14 – Faculty awards and Dr. Gold delivers the state-of-the-campus speech, 3-6 p.m., Durham Research Center Auditorium

Construction projects:
Davis Global Center (substantial completion has occurred; grand opening events in April 2020);
Wittson Hall renovation (completion March 2020);
Wigton Heritage Center (completion July 2021);
Munroe-Meyer Institute (move-in goal of late 2020/early 2021).
