Olson Center Brown Bag: Happiness Is…

Kay Ryan, PhD

Kay Ryan, PhD, co-founder of A Time to Heal — an organization that provides support and empowerment to cancer survivors — will present at the next Olson Center Brown Bag event, at noon on Sept. 15.

Dr. Ryan will speak on the concept of happiness as it relates to patients, clients and caregivers. Her talk will explore research on happiness and its effects on health and well-being, while also demonstrating strategies to help patients, clients and caregivers increase personal happiness.

The lecture is free. The cost is $10 to obtain nursing credit. Payment instructions will be given when at pre-registration.Nursing credit can only be obtained for watching the live stream of the virtual presentation, not for viewing the recording after the event.
