UNMC spring radio spots to begin airing today

UNMC will air its spring radio commercials beginning today (March 13) on select stations in Omaha, Lincoln and across the state. A series of radio spots will highlight Nebraskans pride in UNMC and feature comments from individuals interviewed across the state.

“Every day, UNMC touches the lives of individuals across the state in many ways,” said Sandy Goetzinger-Comer, director of public affairs. “Over the years, we’ve had people tell us why UNMC is important to the state and how our institution is making a difference. Through these commercials, we strived to capture the pride that we’ve heard expressed. To do that, we traveled the state and talked with individuals, asking them to share, in their own words, how UNMC is impacting their world. We appreciate the willingness of these individuals to share their stories about UNMC and its impact with all Nebraskans through these radio commercials.”

The radio commercials will air the weeks of March 13 and 20, again the weeks of April 3, 10 and 17 and again the week of May 1.

The final commercial features researcher Alexander Kabanov, Ph.D., professor in the College of Pharmacy and director of the Center for Drug Delivery and Nanomedicine.
