Faculty, staff appreciation event held at Lauritzen Gardens

In appreciation and recognition of the incredible work being done by faculty and staff during this past year, Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, is partnering with Lauritzen Gardens to provide entertainment and excitement to end 2020 and look ahead to all that is possible in 2021.

Employees and their immediate families will be able to attend Lauritzen Gardens’ “Merry and Bright” holiday celebration at no cost from Friday, Dec. 18, though Sunday, Jan. 3. The ticketing window will be open from Dec. 12 through Jan. 3 with the code MERRY20 to claim complimentary tickets.

Merry and Bright is a holiday show featuring thousands of vibrant poinsettias, amaryllis and other festive florals and foliage decking the halls, with a magnificent 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree (made from more than 700 plants) standing tall at the center. The show will be available daily from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and include appropriate COVID-19 guidelines and one-way traffic to keep guests safe.
