Individuals will not be able to make reservations through EMS for space usage on UNMC campuses, such as in the McGoogan Health Sciences Library, at the present time.

The University of Nebraska system has experienced a number of issues since installing an upgrade to the EMS scheduling software last week. In an effort to correct the issues, the EMS system was taken down Thursday, Jan. 21, at 7 p.m.

As a result, individuals will not be able to make reservations through EMS for space usage on UNMC campuses during this time.

A specific impact for students is the inability to make reservations for study rooms in the McGoogan Health Sciences Library. During this time, individuals may use any unoccupied study room. If reservations were made in the system earlier, there is no guarantee the room will be unoccupied. In that case, the user should find a different room.

Campus leaders expect the system to be functional again later today (Jan. 22).

Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
