Forums scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday

Salary pool increases, health insurance, employee training and development programs, and a new online employee handbook will be among the topics discussed at two forums for faculty and employees this week.

Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., Human Resources Executive Director John Russell and Employee Relations Director Carmen Sirizzotti will speak and answer questions at the forums.

Reaching out

Wednesday’s forum will be broadcast to Room 4 of the College of Dentistry in Lincoln; to Room 360 at the College of Nursing in Lincoln; to Room 250 of the Communications Center Building in Kearney; and to Room 205 at College of Nursing West Nebraska Division.

A forum on Wednesday, May 24, will begin at noon in the Durham Research Center auditorium. Beginning at 11:45 a.m., sack lunches will be provided to the first 150 attendees of the forum. A sign language interpreter will be present at that forum.

The other forum — scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 — also will take place in the DRC auditorium. Cookies and refreshments will be provided at that forum.
