Faculty Senate elected, re-elected reps







Faculty Senate to meet June 5


Greg Karst, Ph.D., will begin serving as president of the UNMC Faculty Senate at the June 5 organizational meeting. He is currently vice president/president elect. Current president Warren Sanger, Ph.D., will continue to serve as an officer for one more year as immediate past president.

A new vice president and secretary/treasurer will be elected from the membership during the June 5 meeting, which begins at 5 p.m. in the College of Nursing, Room 2018. All current senators and all newly elected members are asked to attend the 2006-07 organizational meeting. There will be a reception in the College of Nursing Commons areas on the second floor immediately following the meeting.
