Answer 1 — When the College of Medicine first moved to 42nd Street in 1913, there was only one building, the North Laboratory, later renamed Poynter Hall. It contained the lecture room and offices (second floor), classrooms, laboratories and library (third floor) and the dissecting rooms (fourth floor).
