Question 2 – This photo shows the College of Medicine’s two clay tennis courts. Where were they? What are the two brick buildings, one on the left and one straight ahead? When were the courts moved from this location?
Answer 2 — The picture is from 1923 looking south with the newly finished Conkling Hall in the background and Unit I of the hospital on the left. (This is the only picture I know of showing the back of Unit I before Unit II was added). The tennis courts would be moved when Unit II was connected to Unit I in 1927.
