Chancellor’s forum set for Thursday

UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, will hold a virtual all-campus forum this Thursday, from noon to 1 p.m. to address the UNMC community and take questions.  

Dr. Gold will be joined by Jane Meza, PhD, interim executive director for health security for UNMC and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Susan Kraft Mann, interim vice chancellor for business, finance and business development for UNMC. 

Attendees may view the forum online via Zoom.    

Campus leaders will discuss a variety of issues, including:    

  • The latest on COVID-19  
  • COVID-19 boosters, flu shots and pediatric vaccines  
  • COVID-19 saliva testing for asymptomatic faculty, staff and students  
  • The new approach to workplace design 
  • The Saddle Creek development project  
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion efforts  
  • Wellness topics

An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
