Durham Western Heritage Museum’s Gritty-City tours

picture disc.Join the Durham Western Heritage Museum as they go back in time to explore the seldom-told story of Omaha’s beginnings. Hop aboard Ollie the Trolley for a tour of downtown and learn why Omaha was described as a city of “little repute or value.” See where gambling houses, illegal stills and brothels once stood. Hear stories about how Anna Wilson, Dan Allen, Tom Dennison and other nefarious characters influenced Omaha. This entertaining program will last approximately an hour, and is intended for mature audiences who want to have fun.
