Title: Assistant professor – Section: General Surgery (Surgical Oncology)
Specialty: Surgical oncology
Duties: Dr. Ly will have both clinical surgical oncology and research responsibilities. Her research interests are cell signaling and gene methylation in colon cancer.
Medical degree: Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y.
Residency: General Surgery Internship/Residency at MCP-Hahnemann University Hospital (now Drexel University College of Medicine) in Philadelphia, Pa.
Fellowship: Surgical Oncology Fellowship completed at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center / USF in Tampa, Fla.
Clinic hours: Peggy Cowdery Cancer Care Center, The Lied Transplant Center level 3, Thursdays (8 a.m. to noon).
