If you tune in to the Nebraska-Troy pre-game radio program on Saturday on the Husker Sports Network, don’t be surprised if you hear the voice of Tony Hollingsworth, Ph.D., professor and program director for Gastrointestinal Cancer Research at the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center.
Dr. Hollingsworth will be a guest interview on the program and will discuss the research he and his team are conducting in the area of pancreatic cancer. Each pre-game program during home games will include a short interview with a University of Nebraska faculty member about the innovative work they are doing.
The Husker Sports Network broadcasts Nebraska football games on 1110 KFAB in Omaha, 1400 KOLN and other affiliated radio stations throughout Nebraska.
