Campus forums for all UNMC employees and faculty will be held on Thursday and Friday in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.
Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., Human Resources Director John Russell, HR benefits specialist Jo Watkins and Director of Facilities, Planning and Construction Ron Schaefer will make presentations during the forums.
Topics of discussion will include Initiative 423 — a ballot measure aimed at capping state spending — employee benefits adjustments for 2007 and UNMC’s facilities development plan.
Thursday’s session begins at 9 a.m. while Friday’s session starts at noon.
Friday’s forum will be broadcast to several locations across the state, including the Scottsbluff College of Nursing branch in room 203, the Lincoln College of Nursing branch in room 307 and room 11 in the College of Dentistry in Lincoln.
