Daylight savings changes to affect Lotus Notes calendars

A note from UNMC’s Information Technology Services concerning the effects of daylight savings changes on Lotus Notes calendar functions.

Many of you may be aware of recent national news stories concerning possible system problems due to the new daylight savings time dates for 2007.

UNMC and its Lotus Notes calendaring and scheduling system are no exception. Beginning March 11 through March 31 and again between Oct. 28 through Nov. 3, Lotus Notes calendar entries may be one hour off.

While Lotus Notes is working on an automated fix, this is not yet available. ITS recommends a manual correction to each entry, which can be done if the user re-opens and closes the entry. Please click here for more information and instructions to correct entries.
