UNMC Today soon will unveil a new series of stories called “UNMC Off The Clock.”
The stories will focus on the activities of UNMC employees and students during their time away from the labs, classrooms, clinics and offices.
Some of the stories planned include employees participating in athletic events, charitable efforts and performing as entertainers.
We are interested in hearing from the campus about story ideas.
Maybe you or someone you know participates in community theater, is a regular karaoke singer, quilts or has played the church organ for many years. Hobbies, collections and interesting second jobs also make for great stories.
Along with a story in UNMC Today, many of these stories also will be featured in a corresponding blog at www.unmc.edu/blog/publicaffairs, which will allow readers to comment about the story.
