Forums for employees and faculty are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Thursday and 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Both forums will be in the Durham Research Center Auditorium. (EDITOR’S NOTE: The time for Thursday’s forum has changed to 11:30 a.m. instead of noon as originally reported in UNMC Today.)
Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D.; John Russell, director of Human Resources; and Glen Houpt III, division director of Strategic Staffing and Compensation; will make presentations at the forums. Among the topics to be covered are the University of Nebraska’s proposed allocation from the Nebraska Legislature, changes to the university’s vacation and leave policies, and essential position identification.
Refreshments will be served at both forums. A sign language interpreter will be available at Thursday’s forum, which will be broadcast to the following locations:
- Kearney: UNK, West Center Building, Room 144;
- Scottsbluff: College of Nursing, Room 223;
- Lincoln: College of Nursing, Room 307; and
- Lincoln: College of Dentistry, Dixon Lecture Hall.
