Sounds of Joy

Heidi Joy performs a wide variety of genres from jazz, gospel, inspirational and spiritual to funk, blues, rock and classical.

On Thursday, she lit up the Durham Outpatient Center Atrium for approximately 130 people who shared their lunch hour with the Omaha native.

Joy’s performance, sponsored by UNMC Physicians, was part of the monthly “Music as Medicine” concert series.

She was joined by Andrew Bailie (guitar), Seth Ondracek (bass) and Matthew Arbeiter (drums).

The April 19 Music as Medicine concert will feature the Omaha Chamber Music Society.
