James Sorrell, M.D., assistant professor in the department of psychiatry, will compete Saturday in the Amateur American Powerlifting Federation Nationals in Monroe, La.
Dr. Sorrell, who may set world records at the meet for his age and weight class, has blogged here about his preparation and will make more entries from the competition.
