630 students to receive diplomas at commencement ceremonies

Diplomas will be conferred on 630 UNMC students this week during commencement ceremonies in Kearney, Lincoln, Omaha and Scottsbluff.

Today at 7 p.m., commencement exercises for UNMC College of Nursing Kearney Division students will be held in Kearney in the UNK Health and Sports Center on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus. Nine School of Allied Health Professions students also will receive degrees at the Kearney ceremony.

UNMC College of Dentistry and UNMC College of Nursing Lincoln Division students will participate in commencement ceremonies on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Lied Center for Performing Arts.

Omaha’s commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Omaha Civic Auditorium, 1804 Capitol Ave. Students will receive degrees in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, graduate studies and the allied health professions.

Nursing students from the UNMC College of Nursing West Nebraska Division in Scottsbluff and UNMC College of Dentistry dental hygiene students in Scottsbluff, will participate in a commencement ceremony on Saturday at the Gering Civic Center, 1050 M St., in Gering.
