Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society initiates new members

Fifteen new members were initiated into the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of the College of Pharmacy’s Rho Chi Honor Society during the organization’s 64th Annual Initiation Banquet at the Omaha Press Club on April 12.

The new members are Chad Bartholomew, Michael Brodersen, Jessica Chardoulias, Ryan Frickel, Katherine Frost, Christy Hanna, Amanda Harris, Nicole Ladd, Stephanie Lawton, Jessica Linscott, Megan Miller, Kirsten Ramsey, Joshua Sakala, Evan Wearne and Mary Witt.

To be eligible for initiation into the society, students must be in the top 20 percent of their class and have a cumulative grade-point-average higher than 3.50.

Elizabeth Hermsen, Pharm.D., College of Pharmacy Alumni Association President and an antimicrobial specialist and research associate at The Nebraska Medical Center, was the keynote speaker at the banquet.

Todd Paulsen, Pharm.D., assistant professor of pharmacy practice, is the Rho Chi faculty adviser.
