Kathy Minikus, Department of Health Services Research & Administration, in the College of Public Health, with her pedometer in Benkelman, Neb. Benkelman is the county seat of Dundy County in the southwest corner of the state. Benkelman’s claim to fame is as the birthplace of Ward Bond the wagon master on the old TV show “Wagon Train.”
