Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 4, a section of Emile Street between 41st Street and 42nd Street will close for four weeks while new utility piping and manholes are installed.
Employees are asked to use 41st Street for access to Parking Lot No. 4. All levels of Lot No. 4 will remain open initially but a special closing of Levels “C” and “D” will be forthcoming. Details about that closing will be announced later.
Also, 40th Street will be closed in the near future to allow utility piping to cross the intersection of Emile Street, which will be closed at that time from 40th Street to 41st Street.
Traffic on 40th Street will be restricted to local traffic only for three to four weeks. At least one of west entrance drives to Lot No. 15 will always be open as construction continues south on 40th Street.
