The Thompson Alumni Center at UNO is available to UNMC colleges and departments for meetings, conferences, seminars, luncheons and other university-related events.
UNMC groups receive special NU Group Rates of 20 to 30 percent off regular room rental (excludes revenue-generating functions and holiday parties).
Centrally located and easy to find, the beautiful Thompson Center is among Omaha’s most versatile event facilities with multiple-use spaces that can accommodate groups large and small.
Its hi-tech offerings include ceiling-mounted projectors, an audio and video distribution system, free Wi-Fi, high-speed Internet access and more.
An affordable catering menu also is provided. UNMC faculty and staff also receive a 10 percent discount on room rental for personal events such as wedding receptions, graduation parties or professional/community group functions.
Many UNMC groups already utilize the Thompson Center for workshops, retreats, training and holiday parties.
